On April 15-20 Lena Lighting SA presented its assortment of new products at the Light + Building 2012 fair in Frankfurt am Main. The Light + Building is the largest exhibition in the lighting industry held in entire 2012 year. The theme of the exhibition was to present our capabilities as a European manufacturer of lighting fittings. At the booth we presented our customers with new products from our offer. Customers were particularly interested in all products equipped with the LED technology and our new office system called INTEGRA. LED technology is currently the fastest growing area in the lighting industry. As the manufacturer of lighting fittings we are always designing new fixtures utilizing the latest achievements in this field. Products presented in the exhibition use the latest high-efficiency LEDs with high colour rendering index of Ra 85. Our stand attracted great interest. With the latestLED TECHNOLOGY solutions we have created a new technical bulkhead with very low power consumption at 2W and 6W. In both models we have used high-performance SMD LED diodes, which help to save up to 90% of energy. The main application of this light fitting is to illuminate passageways, exterior elevations and sanitary facilities. Base of the bulkhead is made ​​ofplastic, diffuser is made ​​of mat polycarbonate. The product is characterised by high impact resistance at IK 08.

In response to customers’ demand we have created a new technical bulkheadcharacterized with high power of 2x36W. A modern and universal design makes it useful in illuminating various types of rooms. A 50cm diameter’s diffuseris made from milk plastic resistant to high temperatures. As the light source in this light fitting we have applied fluorescent tubes with a total luminous flux of 5600lm. As standard thisbulkhead is available with silver finish. Main applications: illuminating of the passageways, lobbies, showrooms.
 

With over 20 years of business experience of Lena Lighting SA in designing and manufacturing of lighting, we have developed a new system of light fittings with the name INTEGRA.
The INTEGRA system combines the best features of aesthetics, functionality and energy efficiency.

INTEGRA light fittings have been designed with the idea of comfort for user, designer and installer. Despite the advanced control capabilities, the system is ready for operation immediately after installation without necessity to apply complicated processes of programming and activating.

Power supply and control devices based on DALI digital technology transform each light fitting into a smart solution providing optimal illumination and energy costs' savings.

 

Lena Lighting has introduced new fittings equipped with LED light sources. First of the newly introduced fittings is Cruga LED with 60 bright diodes (5mm) on the work panel and 17 LEDs (5mm) functioning as a flashlight. Cruzi LED is similarly equipped with 17 LEDs (5mm) on the top of the fitting and 30 bright diodes on the work panel. Brightness of the LEDs provides professional illumination of the work surface.

Lamps are made of plastic so they do not slip from the hand while working. Additionally, they fit perfectly in the hand.

Both light fittings are equipped with high-performance NiMH batterythat provides up to 4hlighting in standard mode. The battery can be quickly and easily recharged with the means of 2 chargers deliveredtogether with the lamp. One charger is a car charger and the second one is a standard charger. Battery charging time takes about 4 hours.

It is also possible to mount the light fitting on metal surface thanks to the magnetic holderdelivered in the package.

Those two light fittingscan be used on construction site, in workshop, both professional and at home.

A new edition of the Parts and Garage Equipment Fair arranged by the Inter Cars was held on 2-4 September, 2011 at the Bemowo Airport in Warsaw. Just like in previous years, Lena Lighting as a stable supplier of the Inter Cars was one of the exhibitors. This year the event was extended to three days. It attracted several thousand of car mechanics from across the Poland. Visitors had the opportunity to see the novelties launched by our company, talk to the designers engineers of the lamps and compare illuminating capacity of the individual products offered by our company. Fittings equipped with LED light sources (both in 4mm technology diodes and smd diodes) attracted exceptional attention.

Using the latest LED technology solutions we have developed a new technical plafond characterized by a high colour rendering index Ra 80. As a light source in this fitting we applied 120 pcs of highly efficient SMD LEDs with a total power of 12W and the total luminous flux of 1200lm, which enables to save up to 90% energy. This plafond is available in two versions with and without dimming sensor. The base is made of a plastic; the diffuser is mat and made of polycarbonate. The plafond is available in 5 different colour versions white, black, gold, silver and matt silver. Application: lighting of passageways, offices and exterior facades.

In June, 2011 we completed a series of presentations for architects, designers, contractors and institutional investors that took place in several towns in Poland. We thank all the participants for the time they have spent with our company. During the meetings we had the opportunity to present our latest developments in the field of light technology. The main topic of the meetings concerned the energy efficient luminaires. We presented latest solutions and luminaire based on the LED technology. We are very happy that these meetings attracted so much interest from your side. Again, thank you all for your presence and feel invited for the next meeting which will be held after holiday.

On 08.06.2011 in Bialystok we arranged training for architects and designers in the field of the light technology. We presented the latest innovations within the LED technology and energy-saving systems mounted in standard light fittings. Also we showed selected standard ways to solve some problems in illuminating spaces. After the presentation, the participants took part in an interesting discussion. We encourage everybody to participate in next similar trainings.

On 01.02.2011 there was a change in the European Union’s regulations concerning portable light fittings equipped with a feeder cable. The change that was introduced in that period is described in the PN-EN 60598-2-8:1997 / A2: 2008 standard and it obliges the company launching light fittings equipped with a feeder cable to use cable with higher mechanical strength than before.Thus it is no longer allowed to usea PVC H05VV-F cable.

On 15-16 June in the premises of Lena Lighting we arranged a meeting with ElektroHolding group.
During the meeting our customers had the opportunity to watch the process of manufacturing of the light fittings and the quality control process. We also held a product training where we presented novelties from our offer.
