Lena Lighting is introducing a professional tool for lighting design - software Prometheus 3.0. Prometheus 3.0 is used to design lighting for interiors, open areas and exterior illumination. The program is easy and user-friendly: it has a built-in graphic editor which enables creating required room shapes; it encompasses an expanded library containing a number of predefined models (open areas, rooms, furniture), and also an electronic catalogue of lighting fittings. It enables import of .bmp files, which simplifies in-drawing complicated architectonic forms. Results of calculations are presented in arrays, charts of isolines and 3D visualizations and symbolize actual light dispersion intensity on a work surface and on chosen models and elements. Installation of the program is available in 4 language versions (Polish, English, German, Russian).

On May, 19^th 2011 in Lodz we held training for architects, designers and institutional investors. During the training we presented the latest solutions in lighting technology created inside our company. The main topic of the presentation was the energy efficiency in the luminaires. We presented a range of light fittings based on LED technology and fittings with an inbuilt radio motion sensor. Both solutions allow users to save up over 90% of energy. This subject has met with great interest of the participants.

In December, there was a new series of seminars for architects, design studios and institutional investors. The major subject of these meetings was the discussion of the principles of lighting designing depending on the type of the room and the presentation of new lighting fittings created based on the latest solutions in the field of LED TECHNOLOGY.
